Liwei Wang

Liwei Wang is a professor of Peking University. His main research interest is machine learning. He has published more than 150 papers on top conferences and journals. He is an Associate Editor of TPAMI. He served as the Area Chair of NeurIPS, ICML and ICLR for many times. He is the first Asian researcher who was named among “AI’s 10 to Watch”. His research focus on machine learning theory.

王立威 北京大学教授。长期从事机器学习研究。在机器学习国际权威期刊会议发表高水平论文150余篇。担任人工智能权威期刊TPAMI编委。多次担任机器学习旗舰会议NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR领域主席。曾入选AI’s 10 to Watch，是该奖项自设立以来首位获此荣誉的亚洲学者。王立威教授的研究方向是机器学习理论，在深度学习理论、强化学习理论、以及机器学习的表示、优化、泛化理论等方面取得一系列成果。
